The Cypher Beach Kayaking Club was founded in June 2004. It began with Jenny Weaver and Aaron Nelson puchasing kayaks thinking it would be a fun past time. Shortly after, Chris Weitzel and Maggie Morgan, and Shawn Fix bought boats as well. The group of friends loved going on the Juniata River whenever they could and then the Cypher Beach Kayaking Club was born. It didn't take long before many more friends bought kayaks. This site is to share exciting times the kayakers have had on the river with friends and other community members. Thanks for taking time to enjoy the web page.
